Posted On: 11/09/2023 I’ve been coming to this office since I was a child & I’m well into my adult years and they’ve always been attentive & family-oriented. The dental professionals, hygensits, staff and space is always welcoming. The cleanings always make my teeth sparkle and the attention they provide is A1.

I walked into the office the receptionist greeted me and took my information. Shortly after filling out my new patient papers I was called into the back to take some x rays of my mouth then asked to wait back into the waiting area. Shortly after I was called into the room to be seen by the dentist. The assistant set up the entire room as if I was going to be worked on. The dentist came in looked into my mouth and proceeded to tell me what I needed to get done.. IMMEDIATELY he proceeds to tell me about a procedure that is $4500. So I asked if my insurance covers it and he tells me that his Dental assistant will check, however the dental assistant was in the room with us and as soon as the dentist walked out his told me that my insurance doesn't cover what needs to be done...NOTHING WAS CHECKED ! because I called my insurance and they stated everything that covered and the procedure that the doctor stated that I needed was covered. This office is a SCAM! The dentist also stated that I have a broken tooth in my mouth... Do you think anything was done about my broken tooth ? ABSOLUTELY nothing was done. Talking about the was going to give me a referral. SO WHAT WAS THE POINT OF ME COMING THERE THEN ? CLEARLY THOUGHT THEY WAS GONNA GET 4500 FROM ME!

Posted On: 11/09/2023 I wish there was a negative stars to put a rating in anyway I visited the office the other day the disappointment was at an all time high I've never had an experience like the one I had ever at this dentist my whole family used to come here when I had children my kids came here. we will no longer be going here I know my teeth are messed up but Dr Rosen and the old staff were very helpful with picking alternatives and helping make the visit a warm experience now it seems like they just want money I went for a cleaning and a cracked tooth they did x-rays and then said I would have to pull them out and get dentures but the denture would not be covered by my insurance excuse me I have really great dental coverage from my job but you can't use it because I need cosmetic denture that I could pay for with a payment plan he brings the paper of almost 5 credit lenders I asked why can't I pay outta pocket I don't feel comfortable making a decision like almost 10000 dollar dentures right this moment the man's attitude total changed he did not do my cleaning took off the Bib told me to go in the front till I figure it out I will never go back here and I wouldn't recommend anyone to go here it's not what it used to be when you would come in the place was packed now when I visited no one in the waiting area I can see exactly why now fast talking acting like they care when the don't trying to make people spend way more then necessary think I still have whip lash from how hard he took that bib off lol he definitely has experience with turning people away when they want to think over a plan for so much money Krystal H

Posted On: 11/04/2023 I have been going to this dentist since I was about 10 years old. The old management and Dr. Rosenberg always took care of us very well and it always felt like I was visiting family every 6 months. Well I went last year and it was completely different. My teeth were not even buffed cleaning was way too fast. My husband also went and told me during his time he felt his teeth were not cleaned well. The good thing was that they do a good job in keeping the time so you’re not waiting for too long. But cleaning is not up to par. Also when you need any other extensive work it’s not a smooth process. We decided to go to a different dentist and later found out it’s also owned by this same company. My husband went in due to a tooth ache and they tried to sell him braces. Like wth?!? How do you go from toothache to braces. We almost sued for fraud because they put $2000 credit on his name when he DID NOT give permission to get braces. They barely explained anything and just wanted to get our money. I spent a long time searching but I have not found any good dentists. I’m going back next month to Ave D dental I pray things go well, Or I’ll be my own dentist at this point. I will be updating my review once I go back next month.

Update: 12/13/23
I went back and it was much better. The hygienist did my cleaning and was very helpful in explaining that my tooth had a cavity and needed a filling. However, I do feel like everywhere I go they are pushing you to do things on the spot like wanting me to come out of pocket for sealing my teeth. $100 each tooth. So watch out for that. I told her I did not come to spend $400 I just needed a cleaning which was done WAYYY better than last time. It was a quick and efficient visit but I also felt like my teeth were cleaned much better and without wasting time. I had to return again for my filling and thats when I met with the doctor. She was very kind once again explaining what she saw and when I had questions she reassured me that she only saw one tooth with a cavity. So i definitely felt more comfortable and also the dentist assistant was also very kind. The only thing that was not good on this visit was that my husband was also supposed to get a filling but because there was a mixup they gave him a consultation visit instead. He had to return again. But anyway much better than that las time at this location over all. Mimi M

Posted On: 10/31/2023 I had my teeth cleaned there. I had a great experience. I can back a few months later because I had a loose front tooth. Yes it showed an small infection in the X-ray. They prescribed an antibiotic mouthwash. They told me my dental insurance would not cover it. It would be about $6000. I walked out crying. Would you think someone would just ask my dental insurance in the office.

Shameful. If they say something is not covered they should have contacted my insurance to confirm it . This is a very greedy office.

And I think they were discriminating against me because I do not look like the people from this community. They knew I had a great job. I was in uniform. And I think because I am blond they thought I was stupid. And no they probably thought i could borrow the money.

Yes I did report them to my insurance company.

Really horrible experience. I am already afraid of dental work. .

I just looked at all their recent reviews for nunber 1 in ratings. They are all recent That tells you something. Read the 1’s. Tammy N

Posted On: 10/05/2023 I see someone else had the similar experience as me. I just didn't accept to pay. It was my 1st visit 2 the office 4 toothache. They took a lot of X-rays. The Dr entered room, no greeting or intro(still don't know his name, he was young &Spanish) he told me my insurance wouldn't pay. The cost was $2,500 & they have payment plan. I stated I'll have to contact my insurance for clarity & to just give me rx. My instinct was 👍🏿. Per insurance, they needed to submit prior authorization which they never did.This was a WOW! Need less to say I will NEVER return.These ppl are trying to exploit poor ppl, just disgusting, unprofessional & $ grab moment. ⚠️ ppl Tasha A

The hygienist who did my cleaning was a bit sloppy and I had water pouring down my face and she scrubbed my lips as much as my teeth haha otherwise it was all good! In and out in 20 min. Madelyn P

Posted On: 10/03/2023 Not going to lie I was a bit cautious coming here because of the reviews of other clients but it was such a short distance from my house I figured I give it a try…. And I think I found my dentist! They were so nice and professional from the moment I walked in. I filled out my paperwork and not even five minutes after handing in my paperwork they called me to get my cleaning done. I even had to ask them if they always moved this quickly or if I just picked a lucky day. I expressed my anxiety about getting a cleaning because of how sensitive my teeth were. They were happy to suggest numbing gel which definitely helped. From the moment I walked through the door to the moment I left I was treated with respect and care. Not really sure who the other reviews were speaking of but it couldn’t have been Avenue Dental. I am very big on customer service because I am in the same field. Thank you guys for everything and just know you guys now have a loyal customer ☺️. Olivia

Posted On: 09/28/2023 Such a great experience!!!! Friendly doesn’t even cut it! The staff are outstanding, beautiful people and I felt so welcomed! My service was fast, impeccable and unparalleled! I was seen and heard and met with compassion. They genuinely care about what brings you into their office! I love my dentist! He literally offered me healthy teeth caring options to maintain the healthiness of my teeth and gums. He explained the complexity of how certain products and teeth ailments can impact my overall health! I literally wasn’t feeling coming in today! I had so much on my plate; after my 3rd reschedule, I was embarrassed and said, “ok girl, get your act together and go in there…” I’m immensely glad that I did! Oh and they are accepting NEW PATIENTS! Why not try them! You won’t be disappointed! DeMi R
